Almost done with my children’s sweater for charity. I made it out of leftover yarns from other projects, so I think it’s a nice way to use up scrap yarn that you probably wouldn’t use for anything else. It’s not the most complicated or intricate sweater, but the idea certainly makes it the most beautiful thing that I have knitted so far. (and that’s a lot of knitting).

Don’t worry, I’ll share some photos once I finish sewing in all of the ends.

Made this fancy-shmancy salmon the other day, a recipe from a Gordon Ramsay cookbook. (this is the uncooked image, in case you were confused) You make these holes in the salmon and stuff them with a sun-dried tomato, olive, basil leaf, and garlic. I expected it to be very flavorful, consequently. But it really wasn’t. Not that it wasn’t good. But I would recommend food processing some olive oil, handful of sun-dried tomatoes (maybe 8 or 10 or 12, depending on your tastes), same goes for olives, couple teaspoons garlic, salt and pepper to taste, then rub that on the salmon. Results would probably prove more delicious, and prep time would be dramatically reduced.
